Beacon Initiative – Equality and Diversity Workforce Grants (England)
Children England, the national charity working for Children and Families has announced that it is seeking applications for funding through the Beacon Initiative – Equality and Diversity Workforce Grants scheme. The aim of the scheme which is being funded through the Children Workforce Development Council is to support projects that develop and promote innovative practice in the field of equality and diversity. The funding is available to local, sub-regional and regional voluntary and community sector service delivery organisations working with children young people and families. The maximum sum will be £2500 per organisation and there will be a total of 10 grants.
The closing date for applications is the 1st September 2009. Successful applicants will be notified by 31 September, 2009.
