Stroke Survivors and Volunteer Project Co-ordinator - Invitation to Bid

The Department of Health has allocated a grant to each local authority to help address the Quality Markers (QMs) outlined in the National Stroke Strategy. Newham already has a Stroke Club, Community Aphasia Group and Stroke Survivors Group that all have good links with health and social services. However, there is a need for increased co-ordination of volunteer support and support for the stroke survivors involved in these groups.
This is an invitation to bid for a Stroke Volunteer Project Co-ordinator who will address these areas for development. Funding is available until 31 March 2011.
