The Health & Social care Volunteering Fund
ECORYS and Department of Health are pleased to announce the launch of the second Health and Social Care Volunteering Fund (HSCVF) national grant scheme 2012 and a bespoke partner search portal that will support interested organisations find appropriate partners to meet the fund’s requirements. Register your interest before 21st December. First stage applications can be made up until 26th January 2012.

Working with the Department for Education LOCOG are inviting members of the Get Set network to apply for grants of up to £8,800 to lead activities which encourage other schools to make the most of the London 2012 Games over the next academic year.

Modernisation Fund
The Fund helps organisations plan for difficult times ahead, identify issues and opportunities and take action to ensure you are best able to prosper in the coming years. In many cases this means working in collaboration with other organisations or merging together. Interest-free loans of between £30,000 and £500,000 are available to help organisations be more resilient to the impact of the economic downturn.

The Britannia Foundation
The Foundation offers grants and donations between £1,000 and £25,000 to registered charities and schools working within education, particularly numeracy and/or financial literacy. The Foundation believe that community involvement provides a significant way of putting their values into practice and of contributing to the communities in which we live and work.

The J Paul Getty Jnr Charitable Trust
The Trust’s main aim is to fund well managed projects (working within its current areas of interest) which help to relieve poverty, support disadvantaged people, and effect long-term change where help is not readily available from the public or private purse. The Trust also provides funding for the arts, and towards the conservation of the natural and built environment.
