Personalisation: Are you ready for personal budgets?

Working with personal budget users to generate income
Thursday 15 March 2012
9.30am – 1pm at Epicentre, 41 West Street , Leytonstone E11 4LJ

Personalisation means that people who use social care have a choice.
They are given a ‘personal budget’ and become individual ‘customers’ for services in the community, rather than organisations deciding what services to provide.
As voluntary sector organisations, we all need to adapt to this, and be proactive. This course will help you to plan how you can respond to personalisation. It is run in Partnership with Disability Action WF.
Trainer:
Jas Johal, Direct Payments Team, Disability Action Waltham Forest.
Cost:
Free for members of Voluntary Action Waltham Forest
£15 for other not-for-profit organisations.
