You will benefit most from this course if you are a decision-maker within your organisation considering implementing an outcomes approach, or are reviewing the way you currently gather, hold and use data for learning and reporting. You should be seriously considering change.<br />

• greater understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of their organisation’s current monitoring and evaluation capacity<br />
• greater understanding of the tools, systems and skills desirable for implementing an outcomes approach<br />

We now offer two different training courses<br />
Course A  Level 1        Certificate in an introduction to Youth Work<br />
Course B  Level 2        Certificate in Youth and Community Work</p>
<p><strong>Course A</strong><br />
<strong>Level 1  Certificate in an introduction to youth work</strong>Accredited at level 1 by ABC Awards</p>
<p>The course is suitable for participants who are at least eighteen years old who wish to pursue a career in youth and community work. This might include adults, senior members, volunteers or young workers currently involved in delivering youth work Participants will complete the course with a greater understanding of the theory and knowledge required to work with young people.<br />
This course will consist of two training units covering the area’s below:<br />
Unit 1 An introduction to the youth work sector<br />
In this unit, participants will explore the scope of the youth work to enable them develop a basic understanding of the youth work sector/profession<br />
Unit 2 Safe working practice for youth work<br />
In this unit, participants will find out about relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures relating to themselves and others.  They will learn about risk assessments.  They will also explore the importance of their own conduct and that of others in<br />
promoting safety.<br />
Course requirement &#8211; you will need to attend 3&#215;1 day courses, Saturdays 10.00am &#8211; 4.00pm &#8211;  Manor park. E12 5JF<br />
Although this course is free you are required  subject to being offered a place to pay a registration fee of  £15.00</p>
<p><strong>Course dates</strong>: First course—17/9, 1/10, 15/10.<br />
Second course 24/9, 8/10, 22/10  You cannot switch between courses.</p>
<p><strong>Course B</strong><br />
<strong>Level 2 Certificate in Youth and Community Work</strong>Accredited at level 2 by ABC Awards. </p>
<p>The course is suitable for participants who are at least eighteen years old who wish to pursue a career in youth and community work. This might include adults, senior members, volunteers or young workers currently involved in delivering youth and community work.  Participants will complete the course with a greater understanding of the theory, skills and knowledge required to work with young people.<br />
The content is delivered over 14 sessions, lasting approximately 3 to 6 hours per session.<br />
To be accepted upon this course you are required to be attending a youth work placement by the start of the course. This means that you need to be delivering youth work or informal education to young people 13-19 year old for at least 3/6 hours a week. (see course requirement no2  attachments)</p>
<p>Although this course is free you are required  subject to being offered a place to pay a registration fee of  £25.00<br />
This course will begin in November and will be a Saturday event actual dates will be confirmed latter.<br />

 7/1/12, 14/1/12, 21/1/12, 4/2/12, 11/2/12, 25/2/12, 3/3/12, 10/3/12,17/3/12, 31/3/12.<br />
